Willie Bean recently recieved some news that his t-shirts made it all the way to Afghanistan!  He was very happy with this information and wanted to give a quick thanks to Leigh Ford for sending us this note:

I’m Jerry Ford’s daughter and here is the picture of me wearing the Willie Bean t-shirt in Afghanistan.  I’m an Army Reserve Major deployed with the Afghanistan Engineer District of the Army Corps of Engineers to Kabul, Afghanistan.  My team in Kabul is constructing roads, police stations, and Afghan National Army facilities in and around Kabul.  I’m deployed there for a year (May 08 – May 09) while my husband, who’s in the Air Force, is in Korea.  My parents sent me some newpaper articles about Willie Bean’s campaign and we were very entertained.  Love the t-shirts!
